Horns in the Highlands

One of my favorite reasons for living in Fairbanks is its proximity to Denali National Park and Preserve. Denali National Park and Preserve was created to protect Dall Sheep, the only wild, white sheep. When I think of dall sheep, I think of these rugged, incredible animals that somehow run and jump on the steepest cliffs. Seeing the scars on this dall sheep's face and lines of years this sheep has lived always makes me stop and wonder what all this sheep has endured.
