Bulls in Bloom

There is nothing like Denali National Park in the pinnacle days of fall. Every year, Denali's tundra floor of dwarf birch leaves and willows turns to a floral bouquet of reds, pinks, oranges, and yellows. This backdrop can make just about anything an epic piece of art. This year, it was these massive bull moose who decided to emerge into a clearing long enough to be captured on my Canon. They mostly followed each other, sometimes ended up close together, and others with bulkier spruces between them. During the rut in mid to late September, it can be more common to see bull moose interactions as they determine dominance to attract females.
