Muskox

North of Atigun Pass, I came across a small herd of muskox. I managed to get closer than I probably should have, carefully watching their body language for any sign of unease. These two were casually butting heads, occasionally pausing to size me up. Their thick manes shrugged off the cold like seasoned warriors—almost Viking in appearance. I hope to return soon and photograph them again, this time with a longer lens and a bit more space between us.
